Features: Fish in any public body of water without a license. Other regulations, such as size limitations and lure restrictions, still apply. If you don’t have fishing equipment, many facilities operate a tackle loan program. Please note that we haven’t seen official confirmation of Free Fishing Day, but it takes place every year.

Time: Parade is held at 9 a.m. on July 4. The festival is both days. Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., and Friday from 4 to 11 p.m.
Place: The festival is at Harrisburg Park, 191 Sims Parkway, Harrisburg, NC. The parade starts at Captain Steve’s Restaurant on Hwy 49.
