For the sixth year, Charlotte’s biggest fireworks display, SkyShow, will take place at BB&T Ballpark. This time the baseball game will pit the Charlotte Knights against the Norfolk Tides. The game will take place Thursday, July 4th, 2019, at 6:05 p.m. Tickets for the game are already sold out, except for standing room only areas.
However, if you want to see the fireworks but don’t have tickets to the game, the best place to watch them from is Romare Bearden Park, directly across Mint Street from the ballpark. You’ll want to get there early though, to grab your spot. This fireworks viewing map will show you other places to go to enjoy the fireworks. Also, here is a parking map.
During the daytime, enjoy the SkyShow Street Party from 2 pm. to 10 p.m. on Mint Street and MLK Jr. Blvd. outside of BB&T Ballpark.
It’s free to attend, but there will be a cost for some activities. Pick up a wristband at any of the kids’ activities.
Enjoy interactive activities for kids, live entertainment, food trucks and more.
