For the fourth year, Charlotte’s biggest fireworks display, SkyShow, will take place at BB&T Ballpark. This time the baseball game will pit Team USA against Team Cuba. The game will take place Tuesday, July 4th, 2017, at 6:05 p.m. You can buy tickets here. The fireworks will follow the game. As of the writing of this post, tickets are available, but they will most likely sell out.
If you want to see the fireworks but don’t plan on going to the game, the best place to watch them from is Romare Bearden Park, directly across Mint Street from the ballpark. You’ll want to get there early though, to grab your spot. This fireworks viewing map will show you other places to go to enjoy the fireworks. Also, here is a parking map.
Enjoy the SkyShow Street Party, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It will take place on Mint Street and MLK Boulevard, in front of BB&T Ballpark. There will be live music from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kids can get a wrist band that will allow them to climb, slide and bounce.
News Talk 1110 WBT will be broadcasting live from the street with SkyShow Radio, so stop by and meet some of the radio personalities. While you’re at the WBT set, grab your free American Flag on your way into the Stadium thanks to Conder Flag Company.
