4th of July Celebration at Whitewater Center
Date: Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, 2026
Time: 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday
Place: Whitewater Center, 5000 Whitewater Center, Charlotte, NC
Cost: Free, but parking is $13
Features: The celebration includes live music both nights. It does not include fireworks.
Ballantyne 250 Fest
Ballantyne 250 Fest
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Time: 12 to 4 p.m.
Place: Ballantyne’s Backyard, 1611 N Community House Road, Charlotte, NC
Cost: Free
Features: Live music, face painting, historical story telling, bounce houses, community fair, more. Please note that pre-registration is required and space is limited. Follow above link.
Davidson
Town of Davidson’s Independence Day Celebration
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Place: Town Hall to Village Green, Davidson, NC
Cost: Free
Features: The Town of Davidson celebrates with a patriotic stroll, which ends at the Village Green, where a concert takes place.
Birkdale Village

Birkdale Village’s 4th of July Celebration
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Place: Birkdale Village, 8712 Lindholm Street, Huntersville, NC
Cost: Free
Features: Birkdale Village’s 4th of July celebration includes bike decorating, bike parade, block party, and the Huntersville Fire Department’s annual wet down.
Indian Trail July 4th Parade

Time: 10 a.m.
Place: This parade typically goes from Post Office Drive down Indian Trail Road to Old Monroe Road
Cost: Free
Features: Floats, walkers and more.
America the Duck’s Birthday Party on a Ranch

America the Duck’s 1st Birthday Party
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Time: 2 to 5 p.m.
Place: True Cut Ranch, at 5221 Bolick Road, Claremont, North Carolina
Cost: Free
Features: Free water slide, free ice cream, and a birthday celebration for a duck who hatched on July 4, 2025. Please register to help with planning. Link above.
Town of Waxhaw’s Independence Day Parade

Time: 10 a.m.
Place: Downtown Waxhaw
Cost: Free
Features: Free parking and shuttles available.
Troutman 4th of July Parade
Troutman 4th of July Parade
Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
Time: 11 a.m.
Place: Parade route will travel down Main St/US Hwy 21 through downtown Troutman. The parade will begin at the Iredell County Fairgrounds and end at the American Legion Post (401 Main St.)
Cost: Free
Features: Typically over 150 units, including floats, music, marching units, military units, horses, and much more.
Lincolnton
Lincolnton’s 4th of July Parade
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Time: 11 a.m.
Place: Downtown Lincolnton
Cost: Free
Features: 4th of July parade.
Tega Cay
Tega Cay’s 4th of July Celebration
Date: July 2 to 4, 2026
Time: Various
Place: Various
Cost: Free
Features: Tega Cay does hold a fireworks show, but the town’s celebration also includes a boat parade and water ski show on July 2, the Uncle Sam Jam on July 3, and a land parade on July 4. Follow the above link for the details.
Town of Harrisburg
Town of Harrisburg’s 4th of July Parade
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Time: 9 a.m.
Place: The parade starts at Captain Steve’s Restaurant on Hwy 49.
Cost: Free
Features: Harrisburg does host a 2-day festival, which includes fireworks, but there is also a parade on Saturday morning.
Dallas, NC Celebration and Parade

4th of July Celebration and Parade
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Time: 12 p.m.
Place: Gaston County Museum, 131 West Main Street, Dallas, NC
Cost: Free
Features: The celebration is from 12 to 2 p.m. outside the museum and features FREE Tony’s Ice cream, music, kids’ crafts, a fire truck spraydown, a huge foam party and more. Then the parade starts at 2 p.m. and will go past the museum.
