Birkdale Village’s 4th of July Celebration is back for 2026, and it offers families a great time, with bike decorating, a bike parade, and entertainment. This event is one of many on the list of Charlotte’s Fireworks and 4th of July Celebrations.
However, due to water restrictions, Huntersville Fire Department has had to cancel this year’s Wet Down.
It takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Birkdale Village is at 8712 Lindholm Street, Huntersville.
Schedule for Birkdale Village’s 4th of July Celebration
- 10 a.m.: Decorate your bike near Concierge
- 11 a.m.: Bike parade begins in front of Starbucks
- 11:30 a.m.: ULTRA Foam Madness with Fantastic Fire Dept.
- 11:45 a.m.: Celebrate with a block party in The Plaza featuring face painting, balloon twisters, magicians, and more!
In preparation for the bike parade and block party, Birkdale Commons Parkway from Arhaus to Regal will be blocked off. All parking decks will be available.
Don’t want to worry about parking yourself? Valet will be offered in the Dick’s Sporting Goods surface lot. The best way to get to Valet is to use the Lindholm Dr entrance off Sam Furr Rd.
