If cooking dinner doesn’t sound like a holiday to you, here’s a list of Charlotte area restaurants open on Thanksgiving, which is Thursday, November 27, 2025. Most of these restaurants have special Thanksgiving meals. Many will fill up early, so make sure to make reservations right away.
There are a few takeout options included in this list as well. If you’re not sure, just go to their website (links are included.) You should, in most cases, be able to order individual meals for takeout or delivery.

These restaurants are in all price ranges. We’ve abandoned our “cheap stuff only” rule for this list. If you’re expecting “on the cheap” options, some won’t fit the bill! But if you value not cooking and cleaning enough, and just want to spend time with family, maybe you won’t mind splurging.

Charlotte restaurants open on Thanksgiving

You’ll definitely need to make a reservation at the higher-end restaurants on this list, but we’ve provided information for some last-minute drop-in restaurants as well! In the case of chain restaurants, make sure to verify with the location of your choice, as plans might vary.

On Thanksgiving day, breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. (last reservation at 10:30 a.m.), and dinner will be from 2 to 8 p.m. (last reservation at 6:30 p.m.)
Last year, they had a three-course holiday dinner menu, but that has yet to be announced for 2025.

They’ll be serving a special limited menu for Thanksgiving starting at 11 a.m.

They are offering a Thanksgiving dinner featuring a slow-roasted sliced turkey entrée and multiple sides that runs $50 for adults and $20 for children.
They will also be offering their usual menu as well as a Pumpkin pie tartlet with pecan ice cream ($12) for dessert.

Final price is determined by your selected entrée, with the options of filet mignon, prime bone-in ribeye, or traditional mixed-herb roasted turkey breast.
