Bass Pro Shops: Every day through December 24th, visit Santa and get a free 4×6 print of your child with Santa. There are also free crafts, games and activities. Follow the above link to get the schedule.
Harris Teeter #11: Santa will be at Harris Teeter, 15007 John J. Delaney Drive on Saturday, December 16th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring your camera!
Cabela’s: Saturdays from November 25th to December 16th, get a free photo with Santa starting at 1 p.m. Pets are welcome too.
Kannapolis Celebration of Lights
November 25th to December 30th, with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Families can walk through the light display, ride the Winterland Express Train ($2), enjoy carolers and animatronic singing bears, make s’mores, and much more. Parents can take pictures of their kids with Santa.
Second Anniversary Party at Legion Brewing

Brunch with Santa is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donuts with Santa at RiverGate Shopping Center: Saturday, December 16th, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Also crafts, balloon artist, holiday music, and donuts from Rise Biscuits and Donuts. Make donations to Second Harvest Food Bank.
Arboretum Holiday Magic Jubilee: Saturday, December 16, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Also trackless train, horse-drawn carriage rides and face painting.
“The Black Christmas”
Saturday, December 23rd
6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Three Spirits Brewery, 5406 Old Pineville Road
Enjoy the best black-owned food trucks, local vendors, and a black Santa. DJFlexMan will be playing your favorite Christmas music.
Santa Saturdays at Black Lion: Shop for something special and get a free photo of your child with Santa. Santa will be at the store on Park Road every Saturday from November 25 to December 23, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your camera!
Charlotte Christmas Village: Santa will be visiting Charlotte Christmas Village and parents can take as many pictures as they want. Charlotte Christmas Village will be going on through Christmas Eve. Santa will be there:
Saturdays: 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Sundays: 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Coalition for Cultural Compassion Santa Event: Free event Saturday, December 16th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Piedmont Unitarian Universalist Church. A professional photo will take pictures of your child with Santa and email you the digital image. There will also be music, crafts, performances, hot cocoa and more.
Past Santa events:
Mooresville Christmas Spectacular: Thursday, December 7th, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mooresville Golf Club, 800 Golf Club Drive, Mooresville. This is Mooresville inaugural Christmas Spectacular! Hayrides, laser light show, fire pits, food trucks, much more. Bring your camera for pictures with Santa.
Huntersville Tree Lighting and Huntersville Christmas
Tree Lighting: Friday, December 1st, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Huntersville Christmas: Saturday, December 2nd: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
At both of these events, kids can visit with Santa while their parents take pictures. There will also be entertainment, ice skating ($6), horse-drawn carriage rides, food and drink and much more. Follow the above link to see all the details of both events.
Coca-Cola Caravan Tour: From Thursday, November 16th, through Sunday, November 19th, Santa will be traveling to various locations in the Charlotte region (mostly Walmart stores) in a big red Coca-Cola truck. Stop by and get a family picture with Santa. Follow the above link to see the schedule.
Olde Mecklenburg Brewery: Santa will be at OMB’s Weihnachtsmarkt the first day, Friday, December 1st, around 4:30 p.m. He’ll be lighting the tree, and parents can take their kids’ pictures with him.
Cookies and Cocoa with Santa: The Metropolitan is hosting this free event on Saturday, December 2nd from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. There will also be (of course) free cookies and cocoa. Also balloon twisting!
Annual Children’s Holiday Party: The fabulous photographers at Lunahzon will be taking professional pictures of kids with Santa at Charles Mack Citizens Center, 215 North Main Street, Mooresville, on Sunday, December 3rd, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will also be snacks and games for the kids. This is completely free.
Prosperity Village Winterfest and Market: This winter festival and vendor market is at 5336 Docia Crossing Road, in the north part of Charlotte, close to Northlake Mall, on December 2nd. Santa will be roaming Winterfest from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will sit down with kids for a picture.
Santa’s Bag: Children’s Theatre of Charlotte has been hosting this annual event for 45 years. Kids under age 12 can shop for inexpensive gifts, all $5 or under, with the help of elves. Parents are encouraged to take a picture of their kids with Santa. The event is free to attend and so is the photo op. The only cost is the price of the gifts the children purchase. It takes place Wednesday, November 29th, through Saturday, December 2nd.
Light Up Cornelius: Saturday, November 25th, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cornelius Town Hall. Bring your camera. Santa will be there.
Photos with Santa & Christmas Open House Thursday, December 14, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Andrew Brownfield – State Farm Insurance Agent, 2736 Celanese Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina. Photos with Santa for your kids and pets. Everyone will receive a free photo and access online to a free download. Personal cameras are welcome.
