If cooking dinner doesn’t sound like a holiday to you, here’s a list of Charlotte area restaurants open on Thanksgiving, which is Thursday, November 26, 2026. Most of these restaurants have special Thanksgiving meals. Many will fill up early, so make sure to make reservations right away.
There are a few takeout options included in this list as well. If you’re not sure, just go to their website (links are included). You should, in most cases, be able to order individual meals for takeout or delivery.

These restaurants are in all price ranges. We’ve abandoned our “cheap stuff only” rule for this list. If you’re expecting “on the cheap” options, some won’t fit the bill! But if you value not cooking and cleaning enough, and just want to spend time with family, maybe you won’t mind splurging.
