If cooking dinner doesn’t sound like a holiday to you here’s a list of Charlotte area restaurants open on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 22nd, 2018. Most of these restaurants have special Thanksgiving meals. Many will fill up early, so make sure to make reservations right away. There are a few takeout options included in this list as well.

These restaurants are in all price ranges. We’ve abandoned our “cheap stuff only” rule for this list. If you’re expecting “on the cheap” options, some won’t fit the bill! But if you value not cooking and cleaning enough, and just want to spend time with family, maybe you won’t mind splurging.

Charlotte restaurants open on Thanksgiving
Here’s a little special information for our friends traveling through Charlotte. If you’ve got a layover in Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Thanksgiving, you can still get Thanksgiving Dinner:
1897 Market (Atrium): Market Hot Brown – Smoked Joyce Farms Heritage Black Turkey, Pan Fried Pumpernickel, Roasted Carrots, Cranberry Jam, Pickled Ramp Relish…$17.99
Brookwood Farms BBQ (Atrium): Southern Classic Thanksgiving – Maple Bourbon Smoked Turkey, Crispy Brussels, Honey Glazed Baby Carrots, Country Sausage Dressing, Spiced Cranberry Relish, Cheddar Cornbread…$12.99
5Church: The American restaurant is serving a three-course Thanksgiving dinner for $45 for adults and $20 for kids 12 and under.
Amelie’s French Bakery: The main location, at 2424 North Davidson, is open 24 hours a day, every day. They serve sandwiches and salads, as well as treats and desserts. It’s not a Thanksgiving meal but you can count on them being open.
Angeline’s: Serving a “Friendsgiving” dinner with Italian inspired dishes. $45 per person. 10% of all sales will be donated to the “No Kid Hungry” Project.
Big Ben Pub: Serving a three course meal with turkey, roast beef, or roast lamb. $29.95 for adults and $13.95 for children 12 and under.
Bistro La Bon: Serving Thanksgiving brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. $36 for adults, $17 for kids 5-10. Reservations only.
Bob Evans: Order a holiday feast to bring home, with options including a premium farmhouse feast, a farmhouse feast for eight, and farmhouse feast for four.
Bojangles: Every year, Bojangles serves a seasoned fried turkey, which you can take home as part of your feast. Pre-order to be sure to get one.
Boston Market: Dine-in and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. There are also a variety of heat ‘n’ serve options to bring the feast home. You can get the hot ‘n’ ready catering option, and also individual items like pies and sides.
Buca di Beppo: There are several ways to enjoy the traditional Thanksgiving meal, including dine-in, to-go, and catering.
Capital Grille: Alongside full menu, enjoy the executive chef’s take on Thanksgiving favorites. Thanksgiving meal is $42 for adults, $15 for children.
Chillfire Grill: Thanksgiving brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Menu is coming soon.
Coco and The Director: Purchase a ticket for breakfast with Santa and also receive a VIP bleacher ticket to the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade. Breakfast includes your choice of a breakfast sandwich, side of fruit or yogurt, non-alcoholic beverage, and a photo with Santa. Tickets are $30.
Cracker Barrel: Heat ‘n’ serve Thanksgiving meal to go. Roast turkey breast and all the fixings for 10 people. Includes dessert. $110. Order at least 24 hours in advance. Can be picked up November 17-25. There’s also an option to pick up a hot meal.
Eddie V’s: Serving a traditional holiday dinner with all the trimmings from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Adults $42, children $15. Their full dinner menu will also be available.
Eric Chophouse: Offering a Thanksgiving menu with their smoked park barbecue, baked mac and cheese, and more traditional food from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. $29.94 per person, $10.95 for children ages 5 – 12 and free for children 4 and under.
Fleming Steakhouse: Serving a classic Thanksgiving feast starting from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. $42 for adults, $19 for children.
The Foundry at Trilogy Lake Norman: Serving a Thanksgiving brunch with seatings at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. $34.95 for adults, $14.95 for children 6-12, and $6.95 for children 3-5.
Golden Corral: Thanksgiving buffet includes carved turkey, fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, ham, meatloaf, and much more.
Harper’s South Park: Serving a menu including roasted turkey, ham, and prime rib with sides and dessert from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. $32 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
Macaroni Grill: 3 course dinner. $24.99.
Maggiano’s: Open for Italian-American Thanksgiving.
Metro Diner: Open until 2 p.m. serving diner favorites and the holiday special, Stuffing Waffle with Turkey.
Mimosa Grill: Serving a buffet style feast with turkey, ham, prime rib, and fixings from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. $44.95 for adults and $15.95 for children under 12.
New South Kitchen & Bar: Open for Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. serving a traditional Thanksgiving feast with all the fixings. $35 per person. Order a turkey by November 16th or sides and desserts by November 19th for pick up on Thanksgiving morning.
Oak Steakhouse: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. 3 course Thanksgiving dinner. $42. $25 for kids.
RiRa Irish Pub: They’ll be open from 10 a.m. to midnight, starting with a brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can order traditional Thanksgiving specials starting at 4 p.m. Advance reservations are recommended.
Red Rocks Cafe: Both locations- one in South Park and the other in Birkdale Village, Huntersville – are offering three course prix-fixe meals for $35 for adults and $15 for children from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The menu will include a traditional Thanksgiving turkey platter as well as other non-traditional options. Reservations recommended.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Select locations open at 12 p.m. 3 course dinner $39.95. Kids menu: $12.95.
Sullivan’s Steakhouse: Serving a classic Thanksgiving feast with roasted turkey, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin pie, and more. The three course prix-fixe dinner is $39, but you can also order one of their usual items off a limited menu.
Upstream: Serving Thanksgiving dinner buffet style, including a seafood bar and carving station, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. $42.95 for adults and $14.95 for children 12 and under.
Vivace: Serving a Thanksgiving buffet including 10 sides, carving stations, and desserts from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. $35 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under.
The Willow Creek Inn: Seatings at 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. $40 per person, children under 12 half price, and no charge for children under 6. Reservations required.
