Town of Waxhaw Touch-a-Truck and Tree Lighting
Kick off the holiday season in Downtown Waxhaw at its Touch-a-Truck and Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m., at Downtown Park, 301 Givens Street, Waxhaw, North Carolina.
From 3 to 6 p.m., enjoy a hands-on experience with dozens of vehicles, equipment, and heavy machinery, including Police Cars, Fire Trucks, and many more!
Santa will be making an appearance at the Downtown Park. Families are welcome to come visit Santa and take a photo with him! While on-site, be sure to enjoy hot chocolate and sweet treats.
The event will also include free train rides, free reindeer food and free crafts.
Christmas market vendors and food trucks will be at the park.
Sensory-friendly hour will be 3 to 4 p.m. During this time there will be no loud noises or lights, to make it more comfortable to those who are sensitive to the noises and lights.
Then, the tree lighting will take place right at 6 p.m. in Downtown Park.
New this year, Children’s Entrepreneur Market will be set up selling holiday crafts and homemade goods, perfect for gift buying for the holidays.
