In 2023, for the first year, Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway will be presenting Carolina Christmas Train!
The Christmas Train will take place in Star, North Carolina, which is 70 miles east of Charlotte, placing it closer to Charlotte than most of the other Christmas Trains in North Carolina.
The Christmas Train will offer holiday fun to all ages in its family class. Or enjoy the ride in a one-of-a-kind historic passenger cars aboard the adult class.

Dates of Carolina Christmas Train
The train will be running Fridays and Saturdays from November 24 to December 16, 2023, and then Tuesday, December 19, to Saturday, December 23, 2023.
Departures will be at 5 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
- Family Class tickets – (all ages) Hot cocoa, cookies, singing, sparkle lights and of course Santa!
- Adult Class tickets – (21+) Champagne and cocktails, singing, sparkle lights and of course Santa!
Tickets for Carolina Christmas Train
Tickets range from $45 to $60 for Family Class, and are $100 for the Adult Class. Children under age 2 do not need a ticket.
