In 2025, for the third year, Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway will be presenting Carolina Christmas Train!
In the past, tickets have sold out quickly, so we strongly suggest you follow Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway’s Facebook page for updates. Tickets go on sale August 1, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. Purchase tickets now.
The Christmas Train will take place at 100 Russell Drive, Star, North Carolina, which is 70 miles east of Charlotte, placing it closer to Charlotte than most of the other Christmas Trains in North Carolina.
The Christmas Train will offer holiday fun to all ages, including hot cocoa, cookies, singing, sparkly lights and Santa.
Dates of Carolina Christmas Train
The train will be running from December 3 to 20, 2025, except December 10, 11 and 17.
Departures will be at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Tickets will range from $49 to $69 on the Summit View and Double Diners coaches. See info in Facebook post.
