The Ballantyne, A Luxury Collection Hotel, 10000 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, is hosting the extremely popular Gingerbread Lane again this year.
Gingerbread artists are creating masterpieces that compete for top honors in three categories:
- Professional
- Amateur
- Child

Gingerbread Lane is being held in the Carolina Room. As you enter the lobby, you will see signs directing you to Gingerbread Lane.
Gingerbread Lane
Visit the hotel from December 14 to 28, 2025, and see them all for free, each day except for Christmas Day. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Attendees may vote on their favorite entries with $1 minimum donation per vote. All proceeds will benefit Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital, dedicated to caring for the physical and emotional needs of children and their families.
There is no charge to visit and look at the gingerbread creations and you do not have to be a guest at the hotel.
There is a charge for parking. However, if you cast at least one vote ($1) for a gingerbread house, you can get your parking ticket validated.

After visiting Gingerbread Lane, stop by the Gingerbread Hut for a cup of hot chocolate, with the option to add liqueur.
