The City of Kings Mountain is partnering with the Mauney Memorial Library to present a special family activity throughout the month of October.
“It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” StoryWalk will take place October 1st to 31st, 2020, at Patriots Park, 400 S Railroad Avenue, Kings Mountain.
Families can visit, and enjoy the walk at their own pace, and, of course, it’s free.
This unique StoryWalk will feature the timeless Peanuts tale of Linus Van Pelt’s dream to meet the Great Pumpkin! Located at Patriots Park in Downtown Kings Mountain, this safe, outdoor event will begin October 1st, 2020 and run throughout the month of October.
This month long event allows for families to visit at their leisure to prevent any mass gatherings.
Photo ops will be available in Linus’ pumpkin patch. Festive music will fill the air.
The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
