Gaston County Museum, 131 Main Street, Dallas, North Carolina, is hosting a Day of the Dead Celebration on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This family-friendly celebration is free to attend.
Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, is a traditional Mexican holiday in which participants remember and pray for their friends and family members who have passed away. The holiday features altars to loved ones and brightly painted sugar skulls.
Visitors are encouraged to leave a candle or memento at the ofrenda to honor loved ones who have passed.
