Halloween 2020 is a little bit different! But that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. All around the Charlotte region, we are finding people rising to the occasion, getting into the Halloween spirit, and creating fun and spooky opportunities.
You can see an elaborate Halloween light show in McAdenville, a haunted house in a fun park in Fort Mill, another haunted house in Salisbury, as well as many haunted trails, corn mazes and pumpkin patches.
And Aquawave Express Carwash, 6415 West Wilkinson Blvd, Belmont, is transforming into Tunnel of Terror Thursdays through Sundays until Halloween.
You can get your car washed while you enjoy a haunted experience.
You can expect fog, flashing lights, and up to 10 entertainers dressed in costumes and masks based on Halloween films.
The characters will entertain you as you wait for your turn in the car wash (and it was a pretty lengthy wait on Saturday night, so keep that in mind) and maybe a skeleton will help with your credit card transaction.
Then they will continue to go for shock value while your car makes it way through the automatic car wash.
The cost is $22, and that includes Buff ‘n’ dry, Hot Wax Shine and Aqua Shield.
Tunnel of Terror will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Also, on Halloween, the car wash might host a trunk or treat. We’ll have more details on that soon.
