The Trail of History and Mecklenburg County are presenting Mecklenburg 250: Charlotte History Festival on May 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Captain Jack Statue, at Elizabeth Park, 4th Street and Kings Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina.
This free festival celebrates the growth of Mecklenburg County, featuring local history, art music and food.
The Trail of History Festival is a lead-up to the Meck Dec Day celebrations in Charlotte, and you can expect to learn all about the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence.
