If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my website by email. Thanks for visiting! So…I was over-ambitious. I’ve purchased too many groupons. I can’t use them all. But my poor planning is your good luck, because I’d like to give away a $30 groupon for T1 Tapas in Huntersville. It’s at Birkdale, at 8625 Lindholm Drive. You can use it for food and drinks. If they still have the scallops on the menu I recommend them. They were very tasty. The cool thing about T1 Tapas is that they have these interactive, high-tech tables. You can order through a touch-screen on the table, and do all kinds of other cool things. You can hook up your laptop or iPod to the table and look at videos or whatever on a screen on the wall too.
If you win, I will email you the pdf of the Groupon. Don’t worry that it has my name on it. That doesn’t matter. It expires on January 11th, 2011. That is 1/11/11. Also very cool!
To enter, just leave a comment to this post and tell me something interesting. I don’t care what it is. Just don’t tell me why you want to win. Anything but that! For instance, if I were to enter the contest, I might leave a comment saying, “The praying mantis is the only insect that can turn its head 180 degrees.”
The winner will be chosen randomly on Thursday, September 2nd, from all the people who told me interesting things.

Nothing says “September” like the first football game of the season. Be a part of the excitement at Davidson College by attending the Wildcats’ home opener against Georgetown, on Saturday, September 4th, at 6pm. The Davidson Wildcats are the only Division 1 football team currently playing in the Charlotte area, and the games offer an incredible value for family fun. Bring the kids out up to three hours before the game and enjoy the “Wildcat Way.” This new tailgate area, just steps from the stadium, includes live music, face painting, inflatable games, and other fun activities. During the game itself, kids often play their own game in a grassy area right in the stadium, so make sure to bring your football. All seats are general admission, so you don’t have to pay premium prices to get good seats.
Charlotte on the Cheap is partnering with Davidson College to offer a special deal for this game.
