Cleveland County Tourism is hosting Mush, Music & Mutts: NC’s Official Fall Liver Mush Festival in Shelby on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
It will take place in Uptown Shelby from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is free to attend.
If you love liver mush, don’t miss this! If you’ve never tried it, this is the perfect time. There will be lots of liver mush to try.

Some liver mush highlights are a liver mush eating contest, a recipe contest and a cook-off.
Pet features include a pet costume contest and parade, K9 demo, trick shows, musical sit contests and more.
The musical headliner will be Dirty Grass Soul.
