The Jewish Council of Lake Norman is bringing Jewish Deli Fest to Downtown Davidson on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will take place on The Village Green in Davidson, North Carolina.
This is a chance to enjoy Jewish delicacies that are sometimes hard to come by here in the south, including New York kosher-style deli sandwiches of corned beef or pastrami, potato knishes, and more, plus Israeli foods like falafel.
Don’t miss the Jewish baked goods like black and white cookies, babka, mandelbread and rugelach.
The 2023 event was announced on Jewish Council of Lake Norman’s Facebook page.
The festival is not just about food. Enjoy traditional Jewish dancing and Klezmer music.
Children’s activities include a trackless train ride, Bubble Man, basketball hoop throw and a balloon artist.
There will also be a Kugel contest for local bakers, and a pickle eating contest. Sign up for the contests online.
This is a major Jewish cultural event for the Charlotte area and Lake Norman.
Admission is free. (Pay for food.)
