Historic Rural Hill, at 4431 Neck Road in Huntersville, hosts the Huntersville Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 20th, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free, but some of the activities might have a charge.
Free entertainment includes:
- live music
- balloon twisters
- airbrush tattoos
- bounce houses
Local craft vendors will be at the festival, as will food trucks. You can also buy food and drinks from the Rural Hill concessions stand.
New this year is the Halloween Egg Dash. 20,000 black and orange eggs filled with candy!
Ages and timeframes:
*Ages 1-3: 4:30pm
*Ages 4-6: 4:45pm
Ages 7-9: 5:00pm
Ages 10-13: 5:15pm
Ages 14-17: 5:30pm
*one parent/guardian per child is allowed on the field
The annual costume contest starting at 6:00pm will award one participant in each of the following categories: Cutest Baby (age 1 and under), Best Costume (ages 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-13, 14-17), Best Superhero, Best Disney Character, Best Homemade Costume, Best Adult Costume (ages 18+), and Best Family Costume.
Parking for the event is $5 per vehicle. The Amazing Maize Maze will be open, along with hayrides to the pumpkin patch, for a set fee. Visit Rural Hill’s website to view the fee schedule.
