Celebrate Friday the 13th and the Halloween season with SpookyCLT and Charlotte Area Paranormal Society at a special event. SpookyCLT: Haunted History Tour and Ghost Hunt of Latta Arcade takes place on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 7 p.m.
Although, at $30, this isn’t a cheap event, it’s a unique event, a perfect way to spend Friday the 13th, and the proceeds go to a good cause. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Elmwood Cemetery Angel Society to aid in the restoration of headstones, especially that of Charlie Houck. Who was killed by a lion.
Get Ready for a Spooky Evening of over a century’s worth of history and Spooky Stories of the 100+ Year Old Latta Arcade. Join members of the Charlotte Area Paranormal Society on a scientific-minded ghost hunt inside one of Uptown’s oldest buildings.
Using the latest technology, these experts will lead you in the search for evidence of the paranormal. Tenants of the building have been reporting activity for decades but the building itself has never been investigated. Minimal Equipment will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own. You never know what remnants of the past you might find. Please wear comfortable shoes.
What to Expect:
- Guests will be split up into groups to learn about the history of the building, ghost stories, as well as paranormal investigations and equipment.
Event Details:
- Friday October 13th 7pm arrival and 10pm departure.
- Entrance is located on Tryon Street between Chipotle and PotBellys Sandwich Shop. The Brevard Court Entrance will not be open.
