Free eye exams for kids — and free glasses if needed!

Vision To Learn is a nonprofit dedicated to helping kids see clearly in school and in life by offering no cost vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses using their mobile eye clinics and help from a skilled team of eye doctors and opticians. 

Vision to Learn will be visiting multiple locations in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County this summer. By having your child’s vision checked, and corrected with eyeglasses if necessary, you can help your child be ready to learn when school starts.

Here’s how the program works:

• The Vision To Learn mobile clinic is an eye doctor’s office on wheels.
• An eye doctor will give your child a basic eye exam.
• If needed, your child will pick out glasses.
• Glasses will be delivered 3-4 weeks later.
• The results of the exam will be shared with you.
• If the glasses break within a year, Vision to Learn will replace them.
