Celebrate the Year of the pig at annual Tet Festival. It’s held at St. Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church, 4929 Sandy Porter Road, February 1-3, 2019. It’s free to attend.
The hours are:
Friday, February 1: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m..
Saturday, February 2, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday, February 3, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The festival features live musical entertainment, and The Lion Dance, a highlight of the festival. There will be lots of games for kids.
More than 90 food items will be for sale, with prices ranging from $1 to $15. A few of the items available last year were fried bananas, rabbit stew, steamed pancake roll, grilled shrimp, summer rolls and much more.
