ImaginOn, at 300 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, hosts Super Saturdays — these are free activities at Spangler Library that often relate to a Children’s Theatre of Charlotte show.
The next Super Saturday, Shepherd Shakespeare’s As You Like It, takes place on June 14, 2025, from 2 to 3 p.m.
Super Saturdays are FREE and open to the public. No registration required. All shows are intended for PreK+. Performances will take place in the McColl Family Theatre. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis starting at 1:15. The house will open 20 minutes before each show. Shows vary in length.
This high energy, interactive production leads the audience from the Duke’s castle into adventure in the colorful Forest of Arden. This play has it all–mistaken identities, wrestling, mis-interpreted letters, and Shakespeare’s famous speech “All the world’s a stage.” One performer, barreling through a bevy of costumes and props, will enlist audience participation at key moments to help tell this fantastic tale.
Shepherd Shakespeare was founded by a husband and wife team of theatre artists and educators who share a love of theatre and performing for audiences of all ages. They strive to bring Shakespeare to areas where it might not normally be available.
