
Free, nutritious meals are available to children up to age 18 this summer, through August, 2025. These programs, most of which are funded by the USDA, are available to all kids. There is no income requirement to receive the meals. The federal program is intended to fill the nutrition gap that can occur when school is not in session.

Summer Nutrition Program for Kids in North Carolina
Summer Nutrition Program for Kids — North Carolina offers free meals to kids up to age 18 at sites across the state. Find meals here. You’ll find a link to maps in English and Spanish. Enter the address you’re looking for and adjust the range to find sites.
Many of the sites are sponsored by the local school districts.

Summer Meal Program in South Carolina
South Carolina also participates in USDA’s Summer Meal Program. Use the Summer Meals Site Finder to find the location closest to you. This map includes meal sites for all states.
