
RiverFest is a family friendly festival presented by Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation. It takes place May 3, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., outside The River Room, 102 Main Street, McAdenville, North Carolina.
This is a free festival that includes fun activities for the whole family.
UPDATE: Due to the forecasted thunderstorms in the late afternoon, the floating concert has been postponed to August 2. If you can’t make it then, please email Jenny Moore at jenny.m@catawbariverkeeper.org and request a refund. The rest of the festival is still scheduled to take place.

Tickets
No tickets are needed for anything except the floating concert.
Tickets for the floating concert:
- Floating concert ticket — bring your own kayak: $32.55
- Floating concert ticket and single kayak rental: $58.82
- Two floating concert tickets and tandem kayak rental: $69.32
- Two floating concert tickets and canoe rental: $69.32
Riverfest Schedule
Everything prior to the floating concert takes place at The River Room in McAdenville. Everything after the floating concert is at Confluence in Cramerton. The only ticketed event is the floating concert.
- 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Plein Air Art Show
- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Kids’ activities
- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Vendor market
- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Food trucks
- 11 a.m.: Live music: John David Tice
- 12:45 p.m.: Live music: No Whammies
- 2:30 p.m.: Livie music: Eternally Grateful
- 4 p.m.: Floating Concert with Hiram (ticketed)
- 5:30 p.m.: Live music: Dr. D & Co (at Confluence)
- 7 p.m.: Live music: Zoe & Cloyd (at Confluence)
- 9 p.m. to midnight: Karaoke with DJ Baxter (at Confluence)
Parking and Shuttle for the Floating Concert
Park at 155 North Main Street, Cramerton, North Carolina. The parking is free. Take the FREE shuttle to McAdenville. It will run every 15 minutes from 12 to 3:30 p.m. During the concert you will float back to Cramerton, where your car is parked.
There will be no shuttle to McAdenville after the concert, so don’t park there!
