The Season Finale, on September 14 and 15, has been canceled because of the hurricane.
First Ward Park, at 301 E 7th Street, is hosting a FREE twice-monthly bluegrass or Americana concert from June to September. Live on the Green will feature high-profile, nationally and internationally touring bands.
On August 10th, enjoy a concert by Acoustic Syndicate, with Yellow Feather.
First Ward Park is right at 7th Street Station on the Blue Line, and very close to the 9th Street Station as well. Parking is easy too, in the 7th Street Station garage. There is also free street parking in the evenings, but it can fill up. Buy something to eat at 7th Street Public Market and get your parking ticket validated for an hour and a half.
Most of the concerts will take place on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, with the opening band playing at 7 p.m. and the headliner at 8:30 p.m., but check the list below for exceptions. Also, make sure to check on First Ward Park’s website for any change.
