Kika’s House is offering Kids Healing Cohort — Free 6-Week Wellness Program. This program takes place at Bette Rae Thomas Recreation Center, 2921 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.
This free program is a supportive healing cohort for children ages 6–12 focused on mindfulness, movement, creative expression, and emotional wellness.
- Cohort 1 Dates: February 25; March 4, 11, 18, 25; and April 1
- Cohort 2 Dates: June 3, 10, 17, 24; July 1 and July 8
All sessions are from 6 to 7 p.m. RSVP here.
This nurturing cohort creates a safe and engaging space for children to explore mindfulness, movement, creative expression, and community care. Through age-appropriate activities, participants build confidence, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills in a supportive group setting.
The program centers healing, joy, and growth—meeting children where they are and encouraging them to thrive.
The program is sponsored by Culture Blocks — a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County.
