The City of Kannapolis will hold its Memorial Day Ceremony in Veterans Park, 119 N. Main Street, Kannapolis, on Monday, May 29, 2023, at 12 p.m.

The ceremony will include remarks from guest speaker Major General Charles H. Swannack Jr. of the U.S. Army.

The ceremony will include remarks from guest speaker Rear Admiral Miriam Lafferty of the U.S. Coast Guard. Veterans Park is located at 119 N. Main Street.
A Memorial Day procession will precede the ceremony. The procession will begin at 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Laureate Way and Main Street to Veteran Park.
Everyone is asked to bring lawn chairs and American flags to wave during the ceremony. For more information contact Jimmy Wilson, Ceremony Organizing Chairman for the American Legion at 704-794-3417.
