Please join Joedance Film Festival as they feature filmmakers who are new to the Joedance experience.
Neither the artist or their featured film has participated in a Joedance Film Festival event.
This opportunity is designed to encourage interaction between the Joedance audience and these brilliant new talents.

-A prize-winning documentary that chronicles the efforts of a small theater company in a gang-infested area of South Central Los Angeles. Dedicated theater educator. Dr. Melanie Andrews has joined forces with members of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts to create a company that paired talented and giving professionals with inner-city students to produce amazing productions of Shakespeare’s most famous plays.
Joedance raises funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research at Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s through an annual film festival featuring directors, producers, writers and actors who share a North Carolina or South Carolina connection.
Joedance support research and clinical trials for pediatric sarcomas, blastomas and brain tumors.
