Green River Revival - St. Patrick's Day Festival at Whitewater Center

The U.S. National Whitewater Center is planning Green River Revival on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, from 9 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Green River Revival is one of Charlotte’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day events, featuring the Color Me Green 5K Trail Run, live music, yoga, and a green river.

It’s free to attend the festival and to enjoy the music and yoga. There’s a fee for the trail run and for rafting and other Whitewater Center activities. Parking is $6.

Schedule of Green River Revival

9 a.m.: Color Me Green 5K Trail Run (Competitive Division)
10:30 a.m.: Slow Flow Yoga
10:30 a.m.: Color Me Green 5K Run (Recreational Division)
12 p.m.: Open Flow Yoga
1 p.m.: River turns green
1 p.m.: Live music Maya de Vitry
3 p.m.: Live music Langhorne Slim
5 p.m.: Fun Flow Yoga

Color Me Green 5K Trail Run

Run a 5K while avoiding or embracing the green powder being thrown at participants.

There will be two divisions for the Color Me Green 5K Trail Run — Competitive division and recreational division, and kids’ run. Registration ranges from $40 to $47. It’s less expensive if you registerer in advance.

Awards are given to the top 5 male and female finishers in the competitive division. Awards are given to the top 3 male and female finishers, as well as the “cleanest” and “greenest” in the recreational division.
