Free concert by Septura, a London brass ensemble, in Davidson

Septura, a brass septet from London, is performing in a free concert on Saturday, February 8th, 2020, at 7 p.m., at Davidson United Methodist Church, 233 S Main Street, Davidson.

The concert will feature music from lesser well known female brass composers, Clara Schumann and Barbara Strozzi, as well as some other favorites.

Septura’s members are the leading players of the new generation of British brass musicians, holding principal positions in the London Symphony, Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic, and BBC Symphony orchestras
