The very popular Festival of India is being planned for fall of 2026 at Belk Theater, but you don’t have to wait until then to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of this very popular festival.

The India Association of Charlotte is partnering with the Town of Matthews to present the Regional Festival of India @ Matthews.

This festival is planned for Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Stumptown Park, 120 South Trade Street, Matthews.

The festival is free to attend and there’s ample free parking as well. Read on to learn about some of the activities at the festival.

The theme this year is Folk Fest.
