For the first time, Carowinds is open all year. In January, February and March of 2023, Carowinds is open select days.
Groupon has a deal for discount Carowinds tickets, good any day it’s open, from January 14th to March 5th, 2023. During this time period, Carowinds is open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Groupon deal is for one single-day admission and it costs $25.
When you purchase a Groupon, please keep in mind that there are no additional fees. So when you compare the price to the prices directly from Carowinds, make sure to consider the fees, so that you’re comparing apples to apples.
- Groupon: $25 (any day Carowinds is open through March 5th, 2023.)
- Gate Price: $50
- Ticket price at Carowinds.com: $29.99 + $6.99 (processing fees) + $1.84 (tax) = $38.82
Buying the Groupon saves you $13.83 per ticket.
Please note that children under the age of three are admitted for free.
Some of the rides might be affected by weather, but you can always look at the Carowinds website and see which rides are open. There are also addition winter activities available as add-ons, including ice skating and igloo rental.
