Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, at 551 S Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, is presenting its inaugural Children’s Book Fair Festival on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
It’s free to attend.

This all-day event is a celebration of youth, with engaging storytelling and activities.

Meet notable authors and illustrators, including New York City’s Lincoln Center’s first-ever poet-in-residence, Mahogany L. Browne, and Charlotte award-winning author, Tameka Fryer Brown.
