Charlotte Symphony’s Summer Pops concerts, at Symphony Park at SouthPark, are a highlight of the summer for many people. There are both ticketed and free event. Read on to learn about all of them, or jump to the free events.
Summer Pops schedule for 2025:
Please note that the gates open at 5 p.m., and there is generally a pre-show performance before the main concert.
- June 8, 8:15 p.m.: Classical’s Greatest Hits (Symphony Park)
- June 15, 8:15 p.m.: Best of Broadway (Symphony Park)
- June 22, 8:15 p.m.: Latin Sounds (Symphony Park)
- June 29, 8:15 p.m.: Celebrate America! (Symphony Park) — includes fireworks finale
Tickets for Most Charlotte Symphony Summer Pops Concerts:
- Adults: $15 in advance; $20 at gate
- Youth (ages 13-18): $5 in advance; $7 at the gate
- Children (ages 12 and under): Free, but ticket is required
Tickets for Celebrate America!:
- Adults: $18 in advance; $25 at the gate
- Youth (ages 13-18): $5 in advance; $7 at the gate
- Children (ages 12 and under): Free, but ticket is required
But did you know that Charlotte Symphony also brings its musicians to the community in free programs? Some of these concerts are full orchestra concerts, sometimes with food trucks and pre-concert performances and activities. Others feature a smaller ensemble made up of members of Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.
Some even include post-show fireworks.
