Charlotte Kids Fest, one of Charlotte’s most popular events for kids, will be at Boardwalk at University City, 9325 JW Clay Blvd, Charlotte, NC, on October 3, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It’s free to attend.

Charlotte Kids Fest is designed with kids and families in mind, and is especially for kids ages 10 and under, with performances and hands-on activities.

There will be several zones at the festival where families can enjoy performances and hands-on activities.

Create Zone will focus on interactive activities such as; crafts creation area and workshops.
Arts Zone will host interactive performing arts experiences from dance to live music performances.
Learn Zone will offer interactive science activities along with other fun educational experiences.
Play Zone will focus on outdoor and healthy activities from sports, games and contest.
Go Zone is set to feature BIG construction and emergency vehicles.

In addition, dine from food trucks and shop from local vendors.
