Charlotte Academy of Music, 15040 Idlewild Road, Matthews, North Carolina, is hosting a FREE musical theatre dance workshop for kids in grades 6-12 on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m.
The choreography is based on The Wizard of Oz.
Get ready to explore the movement and personality of iconic characters such as the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion, while learning fun dance combos that bring Oz to life!
There will even be a tap number, so please bring tap shoes if you have then. No worries if you do not have tap shoes, you will still be able to participate in all workshop choreography.
