True Cut Ranch, at 5221 Bolick Road, Claremont, North Carolina, is opening the farm to all for America the Duck’s 1st Birthday Party on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m.
The celebration includes a free water slide from 2 to 5 p.m. and free ice cream at 4 p.m.
The event is FREE, but please RSVP so that they’ll know how much ice cream to buy.
True Cut Ranch is a family farm that specializes in pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb and poultry (don’t tell America the Duck.) It’s 48 miles to the northwest of Charlotte, NC.
The story of America the Duck, from True Cut Ranch:
Last year one of our sons came home from Nana’s house with a duckling. Since he hatched on Independence Day we decided to name him “America.” He acts like a dog, wagging his tail and demanding that you pet his back. He’s a fan favorite on these 140+ acres, so we thought it would be fun to invite all of America’s fans and True Cut Ranch’s customers to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, America the Duck’s first birthday, and any excuse for free ice cream and a water slide.
