The Knothole Foundation is hosting a FREE Youth Baseball and Softball Clinic, featuring former MLB star Otis Nixon on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Richard “Stick” Williams Dream Fields & Education Center, 7531 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, North Carolina. Please register here.
The baseball and softball clinic is FREE and takes place from 12:30 to 2 p.m. It’s for kids ages 6-12 looking to learn the fundamentals of the game, improve their skills, and enjoy a positive experience centered around teamwork, leadership, and community.
This clinic will be led by Knothole Foundation Programming Directors, Coach Lew (Matthew Corlew) and Coach G (Gerlea Patton).
With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, the Knothole Foundation will combine baseball and softball with a special discussion around Mental Health Awareness during this clinic.
Following the clinic there will be a meet and greet with Otis Nixon from 2 to 3 p.m. You can bring an item to be autographed and take a picture with Otis Nixon on your phone for $15. Kids 12 and under are admitted to the meet and greet experience for free.
