
The 4th Annual DroneFest takes place Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Police Activities League, 1330 Spring Street, Charlotte, North Carolina.
It’s free to attend, but registration is required.
A high-energy, family-friendly event for aviation and drone enthusiasts— for students in grades 6–12 (ages 11–19).
What to Expect
- Live drone demonstrations
- Drone license training
- 30+ booths: FAA, Air Marshals, CMPD, Duke, NCDOT, CPCC, and more
- Special appearance by SNOOPY, CMPD helicopter
