
Patterson Farm, at 10390 Caldwell Road, Mount Ulla, North Carolina (about 39 miles north of Charlotte) is hosting a Tulip Festival for the first time.
At the Tulip Festival you can walk through fields of blooming tulips and hand-select fresh flowers to cut and take home. There will be photo ops galore!
It starts March 13, 2026, and is expected to continue for about two weeks, depending on field and weather conditions.
Tickets are required. If you only want to go to the tulip fields, admission is $5.
If you’d like to also take advantage of all the spring fun on the farm (see below!), the cost is:
- Saturday and Sunday: $16.99 online, $19.99 at the gate
- Monday to Friday: $12.99 online, $15.99 at the gate
Children under age 2 do not need a ticket.
In either case, tulips are by the stem, at $2 each.

- Barnyard animal visits
- One animal feed cup per person
- Wagon ride (on weekends)
