mint museum sunday fun day
Sunday, March 13th, 2016, from 1pm to 4pm, enjoy Sunday Fun Day at Mint Museum Uptown, 500 South Tryon Street. Admission is free for kids under age 18 and museum members, and just $6 for everyone else.

It’s family time at the Mint! Adventure into the museum galleries to view out of this world sculptures, and explore “spacy” 2D and 3D activities inspired by the contemporary craft collection. Craft, construct, and draw (alien artifacts! space gems! spacescape!) Stretch it out in Yoga Universe. Enter the orbit of woodturner Charles Farrar (woodturning demo!) Join Winthrop U Fine Arts for awesome activities (tattoos! pinch pots! alien furniture!) Journey to the galleries to view far-out sculptures with Mint Docent tour guides. Visit the museum galleries & the Lewis Family Gallery. Learn about Summer Art Camps at the Mint.
