Wing Haven, 260 Ridgewood Avenue, Charlotte, NC, is holding its Spring Plant Sale April 16 to 18, 2026, The plant sale is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The sale also takes place on April 15, 2026, for garden members only.
No reservations are required. All proceeds from the plant sale benefits Wing Haven Gardens, programs and educational outreach.
During the plant sale, admission to the garden is free! Donations are accepted.
In addition, there will be free 20-30 minute workshops on Friday and Saturday afternoons during the sale.
Friday, April 17
- 2:00 p.m. Hosta Health & Beauty Tips with Nils Nordstrand from North State Hostas
- 3:00 p.m. Native Pollinator Garden Basics with Julie Diamond (Co-Chair of the Natives Department)
- 4:00 p.m. Bulbs: Spring Planted Summer Blooming Bulbs with Maggie Cudic (Chair of the Bulb Department)
Saturday, April 18
- 2:00 p.m. How to Make a Tussie-Mussie ( a sweet nosegay bouquet using flowers and herbs) with Cathy Reynolds
- 3:00 p.m. Basics About Caring for Hydrangeas & Other Shrubs with Jeff Bassett.
- 4:00 p.m. Bulbs: Spring Planted Summer Blooming Bulbs with Maggie Cudic (Chair of the Bulb Department)
