The Town of Waxhaw is celebrating the season with Holiday Festival of Lights on Saturday, December 4th, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m., in Downtown Waxhaw.
Downtown Waxhaw will light up with over one million lights. This free event includes a live musical performance, performances by local dance studios, carnival games and rides, a live nativity, free carriage rides and the arrival of Santa.
We’ve put together a huge day-by-day list of holiday events in the Charlotte area, including parades, markets, Santa visits, tree lightings, Hanukkah parties, Kwanzaa celebrations and more! We are updating it every day.
Carnival rides and games will take place in the Community Corner, with lots of free prizes, at David G. Barnes Park. Free to enjoy!
There will be a live nativity at Waxhaw United Methodist Church, 200 Donald Street, with interactive scenes from the Bible.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in the Meeting Place on South Main Street and will be available for pictures from 5:30 to 8 p.m. He will be leaving at 8 p.m. sharp, so be sure to get in line early. It’s free to take pictures with Santa.
