University City United Methodist Church, at 3835 West WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina, is hosting a Veterans Appreciation Event on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.
This event is free and open to veteran and active military personnel, their family members, and anyone who cares about veterans and their concerns.
The event includes dinner, music, and a guest speaker. This year’s speaker is John Woodall, Director of Camp4Heroes. The event is free but registration is required and seating is limited. Please register by September 16, 2026.

The dinner is BBQ, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, beverage and dessert.
