On Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mecklenburg County Solid Waste Management Program is hosting its 3rd annual Touch-A-Truck event at Compost Central Recycling Center, 140 Valleydale Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.
This is a free event.
Large vehicles will be on display, including tractors, fire trucks, police cars, tow trucks, a helicopter from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and more.
Free Recycling Center tours will be available, and food vendors will be on site.
