The Gallery at Morning Star, at 12509 Idlewild Road, Matthews, North Carolina, is hosting an opening reception for a new exhibition, Sacred Earth / Sacred Responsibilities on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

This exhibition explores the profound relationship between humanity and the planet we call home, and prompts reflection on our shared duty to protect, honor and restore it.

The opening reception features live music from the Seth Peagler Band.
