Camp North End is growing by leaps and bounds as more stores, restaurants, art galleries, and other businesses are setting up shop here.
That’s Novel Books, a used book store, is located inside Hygge Coworking’s space, in the Mount District of Camp North End, at 330 Camp Road. Look for the sign that says “Lokal.”

Writing begins at 5:30 p.m. sharp. The group uses the Pomodoro method to stay focused. This means they write for 25 minutes, take a 5 minute break and then write for another 25 minutes. At 6:30 there’s an optional half hour during which you can have others critique your writing, get feedback or just chat with other Charlotteans about writing, reading and more. Space is limited and there is often a wait list for this event. If you are unable to make it, please be sure to cancel your reservation so someone else might be able to take your spot.

Onyx Storm Midnight Release Party

Join That’s Novel Books for the midnight release of Onyx Storm, the third book in the Empyrean series.
Stop by for an evening of fun and dragons as they open for special Monday hours to have some fun before they’re able to sell Onyx Storm at midnight.
Enjoy limited edition “Shadow Daddy’s Chocolate Cake” ice cream made by our neighbors at Seemingly Overzealous and themed cocktails and mocktails made by Room Service.
There will also be Fourth Wing stickers, temporary tattoos, mugs and more for sale. Thrift Pony will be popping up with a curation of outfits and accessories based on the book series. The evening includes a short trivia competition, as well as giveaways and freebies throughout the night.
That’s Novel will have 20 copies of the book available for purchase at midnight.

That’s Novel will provide guided questions and split folks up into groups so you have a chance to meet other readers.
