Taste of Charlotte, a three-day festival in Uptown Charlotte, spotlights area restaurants and food vendors. It was scheduled for Friday, June 5th, through Sunday, June 7th, 2020, and was rescheduled to September 18th to 20th, 2020, and has now been rescheduled to June 11th to June 13th, 2021.
Purchase festival coins to buy samples and pay for kids’ activities. The festival takes place along six blocks of Tryon Street, from Stonewall Street to 5th Street.
Consider taking the light rail, bus, or ride sharing, to avoid parking. Here’s information on parking.
Friday, June 11th: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday, June 12th: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday, June 13th: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Although festival coins are required to buy the samples, the festival is free to attend and there are several stages of entertainment, as well as street performers.
Entertainment includes live music, magic acts, circus performances, dancing, martial arts demonstrations, cooking demos, kids’ entertainment and more. You’ll also find lots of freebies at Taste of Charlotte.
