Small Business Saturday is a day devoted to shopping at locally owned stores. It takes place the day after Black Friday. This year Small Business Saturday is on November 26th, 2016.
A few places in the Charlotte area have special events for Small Business Saturday. Know of others? Feel free to leave information in a comment, whether it’s about a neighborhood hosting an event or a store with a great sale. Feel free to promote your business! If this website’s comment spam blocker blocks your post, let me know and I’ll un-spam it! (As long as it’s for a locally owned business.)
Historic South End does it up for Small Business Saturday. Besides the many retailers in the South End, there will be pop-up shops. In all you’ll be able to shop at more than 300 retailers and one-day shops. Read about all of that at the above link. Also you can park once and ride the Holiday Trolley between all the main shopping locations. The stores will have maps that will help you plan your shopping day.
This year there will be three one-day only pop-up markets in South End featuring local Charlotte businesses. All are in locations central to South End’s most walkable and unique retailers and galleries, so you can start your day at any of these markets and then go off on your own South End adventure.
